Hellenistic: Greek culture blended with Egyptian, Persian, and Indian influences.
Alexandria: Alexandria became the foremost center of commerce and Hellenistic civilization.
Euclid: He was a mathematician who taught in Alexandria. His work in the book called Elements with proofs are still used in geometry.
Archimedes:  He estimated the value of pi and discovered the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Explained the law of the lever
Colossus of Rhodes: a bronze statue that stands more than 100 feet high. It is one of the seven wonders of the world. It used to honor the gods of Greece.

 Trade contributed to the cultural diversity in the Hellenistic culture of Alexandria because they were able to blend other cultures with theres and adapt to there ways. They adapted from Egypt, Persia, and India.

 Euclid influenced some of the developments in astronomy during the Hellenistic period by figuring out proofs. By this, others were able to use his work and figure out the circumference of the Earth and the size of the Earth to the Sun and the size of the sun. They could find the circumference of the earth and the sun and figure out there "Greek Astronomy."

 Stoicism and Epicureanism were similar in a way by bringing good to people. Stoicism promoted social unity and encouraged its followers to focus on what they could control. Epicureanism thought that the main goal for us was to achieve harmony of body and mind. The word epicurean means a person devoted to pursuing human pleasures, especially the enjoyment of good food.
