Last Day for Presentation & Book

Today in class, we went through the last 2 presentations. Dylan went first and his presentation was really good. The slideshow was good but his delivery to the class was amazing! I wish I had that kind of eye contact and the adrenaline to deliver a presentation to the class like that! He knew his tuff, but the slideshow could have been better. I learned a good amount about democracy. I don't think any kid in our class asked any group a question besides him. He knew what he was doing and it was interesting hearing from him. After him, there was a slideshow about triremes. It consisted of Nick Barry, Marcus Hudson, Richie Barbato, and Jimmy Paquette. The visual representation of the triremes looked amazing! I know for a fact, I could not make that. The presentation was good, and they were like me, not that much eye contact. We also read over The Spread of Hellenic Culture. To be fair,I had to reread some of the lines, and they still did not make sense. I might reread or just wait till the slideshow presentation!

First day of Western Civilization today of the week. Test Day

We took a test in Western Civilization. I don't think it was bad. I studied and took some good notes. Then Mr. Schick told us we could use our blogs! Thats crazy! A teacher letting us use our computers on a test. I am surprised that no one searched up the answers. The map was easy and the short answers i didn't struggle that much on it. Some of the multiple choice was confusing, but I had to read over and over the question to get figure out the answer. I hope I do good on the test.  I don't know how but I got dropped down to a B! I mean I got all A's but that one project brought me down. ButI should've proof read more. Well it's only mid of the third quarter. I have the rest of the quarter to focus more and try to bring it up to an A. I have to do that for other classes also. Teachers must love cramming up work before the long weekend.
